⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️The MOTIVATION of SATANIC OPPOSITION TO PEOPLE would appear to lie in the desire of the evil one to FIGHT BACK against the Eternal who had cast satan out of his former estate, and reserved him unto [INESCAPABLE] punishment, MANKIND providing the ONLY KNOWN OPPORTUNITY of Satan for ANY kind of a COUNTER-MOVEMENT AGAINST GOD.
[Satan became the devil because of his PRIDE– his mortally sinful self-exaltation over & against God Himself. In this way he committed the FIRST SIN from which ALL OTHERS would spring. Satan effectively CHOSE to "fall," he KNEW what he was doing and he KNEW the consequences– Satan "cast HIMSELF down by his OWN FREE, WICKED WILL". He only thought of HIMSELF, deciding to honor & serve & exist for SELF, and NOT FOR GOD– "I will rule in hell rather than serve in heaven" was a CONSCIOUS DECISION!!! He resisted and rebelled against God AS GOD!!! BUT, Satan was STILL "CAST OUT" of his former state of beauty & power & nobility, because he became a DEMON and was sent to HELL, and even though he IS insanely powerful as a devil, HE IS STILL WEAKER & UGLIER & "LOWER" THAN ANY UNFALLEN ANGEL, who would ALL have been of "lesser rank" than he if he had NOT fallen. This fact is a HUGE BLOW TO HIS PRIDE and I am SURE he hates God for it– ironically so, because Satan brought this all on himself. And yet, Satan is DOOMED TO FAILURE & DEFEAT should he attempt to assault heaven. So what does he do, to get revenge & vent his wrath? He goes after HUMANITY– because God created man to be "HIGHER THAN THE ANGELS", having "LORDSHIP OVER CREATION" as LIVING "IMAGES OF GOD", an honor that NO ANGEL ever had, EVEN THOUGH they "managed" the very stars & planets & such! But NO angel was EVER given the authority to ACT AS GOD'S "REPRESENTATIVE" UPON THE EARTH. This meant that a bodily creature would SURPASS Satan's old position! He couldn't stand this immense humiliation– ESPECIALLY since God ALSO charged the unfallen angels to CARE FOR & PROTECT MANKIND??? Which was a "SERVANT" role, and again one being joyfully performed by his old brethren who were ALSO now ALL "higher than him." And Satan COULDN'T STAND ANYTHING BEING "HIGHER THAN" HIM, who had once been the "HIGHEST". Basically, Satan HATED man as a result, from the very beginning; he would NEVER honor or serve a mere creature, ESPECIALLY not one effectively meant to REPLACE HIM. His hatred was MURDEROUS, to "destroy his opposition" and "prove man was unworthy" even by MAKING man so; but all of this malice was ALSO ALWAYS POINTED TOWARDS GOD. "I'll make you pay for how you shamed me"; "I'll make you suffer for what you've put me through"; "I'll destroy everything you love"; etc. SHEER EVIL HATE. Satan "fights back against God" by attacking humanity because Satan sees humanity's very existence as a threat and attack against himself! He sees this as WAR, as God versus antigod, Creator versus his original highest creature, Life versus death, Good versus evil. Satan "MUST" fight God, by his very "nature," as he has permanently corrupted it. Satan exists in a mindset of OUTRIGHT WARFARE against God and heaven and all that is good. Mankind was inevitably marked as the devil's target, when man was assigned such a sacred destiny– Satan would not allow such a thing if he could help it. But God is unstoppable, even if the devil refuses to ever admit this.
He ALSO apparently refuses to admit that HE WILL BE PUNISHED FOR EVERYTHING HE HAS DONE– not just for his initial defection, but for ALL the COUNTLESS EVILS he has committed SINCE. His punishment will be INFINITE & ETERNAL, and he CANNOT ESCAPE OR AVOID this most terrible fate. Does he acknowledge this? DID he realize this WOULD be his destiny WHEN he chose himself instead of God? IS THIS ACTUALLY PART OF WHY THE DEVIL SADISTICALLY STRIVES TO DRAG MAN DOWN TO HELL– SO THAT HUMANITY WILL "SHARE" HIS FATE????
This most cruel motive hits even HARDER when you REMEMBER THAT BACE SAID THAT "God in His judgment, in His eternal sen­tence against the rebel angels, decreed the reign of strife [ON EARTH] UNTIL THEIR VACANT THRONES ARE FILLED"– and this would be done BY REDEEMED MANKIND!!!!!!!!!!! "MAN WAS CREATED TO FILL THE CHOIRS OF THE FALLEN ANGELS. Were it not for the Fall of Adam, the human race would have increased only till the number of the fallen angels was reached, and then the world would have come to an end... I am certain that the world will last until the number of the fallen angels has been filled, until the wheat shall have been reaped from the chaff." THIS IS ABSOLUTELY WHY SATAN WILL NEVER STOP TRYING TO DESTROY MANKIND, AND PREVENT MANKIND FROM ENTERING HEAVEN. He DOESN'T want those choirs to be restored; he wants the "damage" he did to be both PERMANENT and PERPETUATED, a sort of sick "proof of his power," a lingering "reminder to God" of his betrayal and that of so many other angels AND now of men as well. Satan wants those choirs to remain empty as a "testament to the power of hell", which he wants to fill WITH those humans instead!!! But this is as stupid as it is hateful, as foolish as it is proud. God isn't losing sleep over it. He is omniscient AND omnipotent. The plans of His Heart are ETERNAL and PERFECT and CANNOT FAIL. Mankind WILL fill those places, no matter how many choose to fall, and we must trust that ALL of this will mysteriously give God even MORE glory than if there had been NO opposition at all. Satan's evil damage will be USED by God to accomplish a GREATER GOOD AND HEALING. Satan's very rebellion will become his greatest humiliation. In the end, when heaven is full of angels and of fallen-but-redeemed men restored to the very likeness of God, this will be the ultimate defeat of the devil, the absolute nullification of all his proud and malicious efforts, the final and eternal triumph over hell. The Fall of mankind by Satan's hatred instead became the starting point for the Redemption of mankind by Christ's Love. Satan will fight until the last moment, but he is doomed to lose, and has been from the very first instant of his own fall. Christ is victorious, and in Christ, so is mankind. Satan's "former estate" will be given to humanity, who will glorify God as He deserves, and will do so forever. Do not be afraid. This is the guaranteed outcome. Satan cannot and will not win. Christ's Cross has already conquered the powers of hell, and shattered the grip of death, and done away with sin forever. Love and truth and light and mercy have already won. The devil is still fighting, but he has already lost the war he himself started. Satan will oppose us until the day we die, and he will never stop trying to kill both our body and our soul, but as long as we are one with Christ, the devil cannot actually harm us whatsoever. Remember this. The awful things that Satan makes you suffer in this life, you suffer because you belong to God. Take courage and even rejoice in this. That makes the devil furious, because it proves that even now, he is powerless against the love and grace and will of God, Who makes ALL things work out for the very SALVATION of those who love Him in return. God's Love conquers all, even all the powers of hell, and His Love IS IN YOU, who belong to Jesus Christ. Don't be afraid. Rest in this Truth. God has already "fought back" on your behalf, and He has already won.]

The SEDUCTION of mankind, therefore, should be viewed as a DEVICE OF SATAN in STRIKING AT GOD THROUGH GOD'S HIGHEST AND FAVORED CREATION– MAN.
[SEDUCTION is ALWAYS ROOTED IN SELF-LOVE!!! THE ONLY "DEFENSE" IS TO BE ROOTED INSTEAD IN SELFLESS CHARITY!!! YOU ONLY EVER HAVE TWO OPTIONS= LOVE GOD, OR LOVE YOURSELF– AND SATAN IS THE HORRIBLE OUTCOME OF THE LATTER CHOICE!!!!]
[ALSO remember that God created man as "higher than the angels" as man was ALSO destined to be ONE WITH CHRIST!!!!!!!]

Inscrutable as the designs of God assuredly are, it is nevertheless possible to CONJECTURE that God's motivation in PERMITTING Satan's access to man was simply that of providing a TEST of man's FAITH and OBEDIENCE [because NEITHER of those virtues can exist WITHOUT being proven through testing; this is because they both are the fruits of LOVE and TRUE LOVE MUST NOT ONLY BE FREELY CHOSEN-- WHICH REQUIRES THE EQUALLY FREE OPTION TO NOT CHOOSE IT-- BUT CHOSEN IN A WAY THAT REQUIRES SELF-GIVING (SACRIFICE!!!) FOR THE BELOVED'S SAKE?????] a test which the first parents miserably FAILED [because they instead chose to PROUDLY TAKE instead of HUMBLY RECEIVE; they REFUSED to SACRIFICE SELFISH DESIRE for the sake of HONORING THE BELOVED'S WILL; they LOVED THE IDEA OF THEIR "IDEAL" SELF AND SOUGHT TO SERVE THAT, INSTEAD OF LOVING THE REAL PERFECTION OF GOD AND SERVING HIM-- WHICH IS THE ACTUAL FULFILLMENT AND PUREST JOY OF EVERY CREATURE'S PURPOSE????? And ALL of this failure happened because THEY LISTENED TO A VOICE OTHER THAN GOD-- A VOICE THAT TWISTED AND TURNED THE FOCUS OF LOVE ONTO SELF. 
There are INFINITE LAYERS TO THIS and that's inevitable because that first sin is the pattern of EVERY SIN AFTERWARDS]

He was NOT able to destroy mankind [and NEVER WILL!!!], but on the other hand found himself USED as a MEANS of TESTING and DEVELOPING people [in conscience, moral discernment, virtue refinement, etc. for the sake of their SALVATION; God can & does turn even Satan's most brutal efforts around completely, by the power of His grace in human hearts and His Providence in the world, thus PROVING His absolute authority over ALL things, and the invincibility of His good designs, EVEN when evil SEEMS to triumph– where there is faith in God, His goodness WILL prove ultimately victorious. And, even where there is NOT faith in God, and a man CHOOSES to fall under Satan's power, God will STILL be glorified by JUSTICE in the final judgment of that man... IF he doesn't REPENT beforehand, and thereby glorify God even MORE by His MERCY.].
[Satan wouldn't choose to SERVE, and so now he is fated to be USED. One way or another, ALL THINGS WILL & MUST SERVE GOD. That's the very nature of creation itself!]

[SO... HELL WILL NEVER BE FULL. HEAVEN WILL BE. THE CHOIRS WILL BE FILLED, NO MATTER HOW MANY HUMANS STILL CHOOSE TO "SIDE WITH" THE REBEL ANGELS, AND THUS REJECT AND FORFEIT THEIR PURPOSE. BUT FREE WILL HAS ALWAYS BEEN PART OF THE PLAN, AND NO AMOUNT OF APOSTATES CAN EVER PREVENT GOD'S ULTIMATE TRIUMPH. THERE WAS ALWAYS A "SET NUMBER" REQUIRED. THAT NUMBER WILL BE FILLED. SATAN'S "WINNINGS" OF EVIL MEN WILL NOT DIMINISH GOD'S GLORY, NOR IMPEDE HIS VICTORY, NOR ROB HEAVEN OF ITS PERFECTION. ALL THE SOULS THAT GOD GAVE TO CHRIST WILL BE SAVED; "NO ONE CAN TAKE THEM FROM HIS HAND." GOD'S PURPOSE FOR MANKIND WILL BE FULFILLED IN ITS INTENDED ENTIRETY, REGARDLESS OF WHAT THE DEVIL MANAGES TO ACCOMPLISH. THIS IS AN ASTOUNDING AND MYSTERIOUS TRUTH, BUT IT IS TRUE. IN THE END, EVERYTHING WILL HAVE SERVED GOD'S PURPOSES, AND EVERYTHING WILL BE TO THE GLORY AND PRAISE OF GOD, EITHER IN JUSTICE OR MERCY, BUT ALWAYS IN GOODNESS & LOVE. We may not ever understand or fathom this, but we CAN trust it, and God Himself, as inevitably true. THERE IS NO OTHER POSSIBLE OUTCOME.]

‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️ SINCE JESUS DIED, the devil and his power [of death] ARE [BOTH] DESTROYED – but NOT in the sense of being EXTINCT. The devil STILL assails the Christian warrior, though armed from head to foot [with God's grace and gifts, with the very "armor of God" and with Scripture and the Spirit as their holy and (if wielded correctly) invincible weapons]. The devil STILL goes about seeking whom he may devour [and he DOES find some; this "devouring" is often the result of VICES. Think of vicious language– "your hatred/ rage/ grief/ guilt/ etc. will EAT YOU ALIVE." This is how the devil swallows people up; without the TRUE HOPE found only in CHRIST, they are easy prey to despair, and despair always leads to death in one way or another], and STILL deceives men to ruin [which we can see him doing all too plainly and shamelessly in our current culture; again, the ONLY TRUTH is found in CHRIST and HIS GOSPEL, and when these are rejected and ignored and mocked and despised, the only "other" paths lead to perdition. We are surrounded by clever lies, which are all devilish traps set specifically to kill our souls, and which we CANNOT see or avoid on our own– worse, we may even WANT to be "trapped," to take the bait and to hell with the consequences (literally). Our ONLY salvation from this deadly minefield of deceit is the Light and Power of the Gospel, to reveal and shatter ALL those snares]. Yet HE IS DESTROYED. Are we not all familiar with objects which are DESTROYED, without being actually ENDED?
[WHAT??????? You mean like an old computer that won't even turn on, all burnt out inside and unusable, but still in one piece? Like an article of clothing full of holes and reduced to a rag, but not yet burned? Like a fruit or vegetable that is rotten and bug-eaten and molded, but not yet thrown away? How dreadfully ironic a fate! Death itself is "at death's door", but not yet "extinct", just to show how impotent and useless and decrepit it truly is now??? God hasn't "thrown it out" because he is USING it as a "FOIL" to the LIFE & BEAUTY & POWER OF CHRIST???? He is USING DEATH ITSELF as a MEANS OF HIS GLORY, by TRIUMPHING OVER IT AGAIN & AGAIN, IN THE DEATH OF EVERY SINGLE REDEEMED CHRISTIAN!! And the devil, too, although he "cannot DIE" since he is a spiritual being (a fallen angel), is STILL DESTROYED, ultimately powerless to achieve his goals, all his plans made utterly futile, because GOD HAS ALREADY WON. He still EXISTS, and death still OCCURS, but both of them have been STRIPPED of their previous power and strength, all their cruel authority and dominion ABOLISHED FOREVER. They are still around, and still exert an influence in our lives, but it is now entirely under God's control, and NEITHER of them can conquer us, or even harm a single hair on our heads, as long as we belong to Christ. The devil's attacks now only serve to show how powerful God's grace in us is to resist and refute them all, AND to RECOVER from them even when we do fall; NOTHING the devil does can defeat us who have the Holy Spirit! And Death itself is now merely the entrance into eternal LIFE, and thus becomes an opportunity for REJOICING. Jesus Christ, Crucified and Risen, has INDEED destroyed death and the devil FOREVER, and their remaining in these "last days" AS so destroyed actually gives EVEN MORE GLORY to Christ than if He had simply made them "extinct"!]

How strange it would sound if we were to speak of our children as if they had a thought or volition respecting their nature, and as if they were pleased to take on them [a particular] body, when they were born!
[NEW AGE PAGANISM DOES THIS. The false doctrine of reincarnation, or of "preexistence" of mortals, arrogantly puts humans on the same plane as Christ!! We were NOT created as mere souls and then PUT into a body!!!! Our existence AS HUMANS is INTRINSICALLY COMPOSITE. God made Adam's body FIRST, but it was NEITHER ALIVE NOR HUMAN until God breathed a "living soul" INTO it, never to be removed!! So it is for ALL mankind– OUR SOULS DO NOT EXIST WITHOUT THEIR BODIES. They BELONG to each other. The ONLY time we will EVER exist as "just souls" is AFTER OUR DEATH, but BEFORE THE PAROUSIA, and this is an UNNATURAL STATE for us, and TEMPORARY, just as it was for Jesus Himself before HIS Resurrection!!! But the main point here is = WE DO NOT "CHOOSE" TO BE BORN. WE DO NOT "DESIGN" OUR OWN BODIES. WE DO NOT "PICK OUT" OUR FAMILIES. WE DO NOT "PLAN" OUR LIFE STORY. WE DO NOT "VOLUNTEER" FOR ANY "EARTH MISSION". AND WE ABSOLUTELY DO NOT "DECIDE" TO BE HUMAN INSTEAD OF AN ANIMAL!!!! WE ARE HUMAN, THROUGH AND THROUGH, FOREVER, AND EVERY SINGLE CIRCUMSTANCE OF OUR BIRTH AND LIFE AND DEATH WAS THE SOVEREIGN CHOICE AND PLAN OF GOD ALONE. WE HAD NO PART OF IT BECAUSE WE DIDN'T EXIST YET– WE WERE ONLY A THOUGHT IN HIS HEART, YET BELOVED EVEN THEN. AND ISN'T THIS TRUTH BETTER THAN THE DELUSION OF SELF-DETERMINATION, OF ARROGATING GOD'S RIGHTFUL AUTHORITY OUR OWN FICKLE SELVES? ISN'T IT SO MUCH BETTER TO REALIZE AND ADMIT AND SURRENDER TO THE HUMBLING YET BEAUTIFUL REALITY THAT WE EXIST BECAUSE OF LOVE, AND FOR LOVE, REGARDLESS OF THE "THINGS WE WOULDN'T HAVE CHOSEN" IN OUR LIFE? BUT GOD DID, AND HE DID SO WITH LOVE. THEREFORE WHATEVER LIFE WE HAVE BEEN GIVEN IS OBJECTIVELY BETTER THAN ANYTHING WE COULD HAVE PICKED OUT. WE CAN TRUST THAT, AND EVEN FIND PEACE IN THAT, BECAUSE GOD KNEW WHAT HE WAS DOING, AND STILL DOES— BECAUSE OUR LIFE "ISN'T ABOUT THIS LIFE". OUR LIFE PURPOSE IS ORIENTED TOWARDS ETERNITY, AND THAT IS WHERE WE MUST SET OUR SIGHTS AND OUR HOPES, AND TEND ALL OUR EFFORTS, BECAUSE THIS LIFE WILL SOON BE OVER AND WE DON'T GET TO CHOOSE WHEN OR HOW THAT HAPPENS EITHER– BUT WHEN IT DOES, WE WILL UNDERSTAND THE "WHY" OF EVERYTHING GOD HAD CHOSEN FOR US, AND WE WILL SEE GOD'S LOVE IN ALL OF IT, AND THEN (GOD WILLING) WE WILL REST IN THAT LOVE FOREVER.]
