*Chaos leans forwards slightly. He points to the Ruby in his chest.*
“Do you remember when this happened?”
“Yeah, yeah of course I do.”
“...If that had happened now, at this time of your life, would you still do the same?”
*J pauses, seriously thinks. It’s obvious he’s remembering his words, his actions, and whether he’d even be capable of them now, when so much has changed and collapsed. But he looks up again, his expression as sincere as it is crushed.*
“...I couldn’t say no even if I wanted to. I can’t imagine my life without you.”
*Chaos smiles softly but meaningfully, his eyes catching the light*
