prismaticbleedGod, thank You for allowing me to experience trials. And thank You for refining my faith through them.
When I go through hard situations-- when I suffer from health crises and financial failures, the distancing of family and friends, the loss of possessions and comforts-- please, deliver me from complaints and grumbling! Keep me out of Egypt! Lead me away from temptation by giving me the strength to endure, trusting in Your Eternal Goodness even in the desert. Remind me of the joy set before me: the purification of my character and eternity spent with You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
