a prayer for my weaknesses

God, thank You for giving me Yourself, especially in the Sacrament of the Eucharist. Thank You for empowering me to face whatever comes my way from Your Loving and Wise Hands. Help me to remember that even when I’m weak, You are still strong. I cannot do the impossible; You can. I am not supposed to be exalted-- You are! And You can take the hardest of situations and turn it around for Your glory and my good. So please help me to glorify You with all that I am, even my feeble and tormented parts-- my disorders and illnesses and inabilities. They are humiliating and distressing, but I would not have them if You didn't will it. So let them-- let Me-- serve You totally. Let my weaknesses become windows that Your glory shines through. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
