What about Sylph of Time? Would they heal time, like fixing time paradoxes? Or could they heal through time, like speeding up natural recovery rates of wounds?
thepageofhopes answered:I think it may be a bit of both actually! We’ll have to wait for the official definition to come out, but I think it’s pretty open to both. Perhaps they possibly have the ability to heal doomed timelines and merge them into the alpha one.
So, after doing brain-aching amounts of research on the Enneagram and Jungian types, I retook this test and I got the Duke of Time title.
Then I read this little bit.
As a member of a DID System where “doomed timelines” are still pulling at us with their ancient pains, the very idea that I could heal that is one of the most inspiring things I’ve read in months.
…I did get a Time title once, with all my God Tier attempts. After 2011 I kept splintering, I kept dying and resetting, nothing really stuck… but that attempt, after everything else that happened that evening, carried a significance I couldn’t forget, even if I was still a shambles of doubt and pain at the time. Now, both that night and those roles are becoming more relevant in our lives than ever before, and in light of all that, I think this simple test result deserves a great deal more personal attention than it otherwise would have ever had.
If I can heal those doomed timelines… the ones the core-splinters are from, the ones the Outspacers left in their wake, the ones that the Tar and the Plague keep trying to perpetuate… well, it’s just like they sang about in that musical we loved. If, somehow, I can sew all those broken threads back together…
This is really something to think about in any case, and I’m honestly excited. Ryman and I were just hoping we’d find something like this soon… I guess all it takes is the sincere intention. Go figure. I love finding synchronicities like this. You just have to know how to listen.
